How do we Treat Premature Ejaculation?

How do we Treat Premature Ejaculation?

Most clients seeking help for a premature ejaculation problem are hoping for quick, miraculous solutions such as sprays or pills. However, our clinical experience shows that this problem requires Sexual Therapy, with a minimum of 10-12 sessions.

With proper treatment, the duration of sexual intercourse can be extended to a satisfactory length of time for both the client and his partner. A combination of exercises to help prevent premature ejaculation, and psychological techniques focusing on the feeling of excitement just before ejaculation, and the corresponding sensations in the penis, will usually resolve the problem. As the client follows the treatment plan, the length of time between erection and ejaculation is gradually extended. The effects of treatment are usually permanent. Once a man has learned to delay ejaculation, he shouldn't experience this problem again.

Premature ejaculation and medication:
We do not recommend medication unless absolutely necessary. Occasionally, medication can be useful in cases where ejaculation occurs before penetration or straight after penetration. Some antidepressants have a delaying effect on ejaculation, and can be used in these circumstances.
