Group facilitation allows people to come together and learn about themselves in relationship to each other, their community and the world.
In therapy groups, participants can use the group process as a medium of exploration, healing and change through interpersonal relationships in the group. In support groups, participants with similar issues come together in order to share coping strategies, to feel more empowered and to find a sense of community.
Group experiences provide spaces that can increase our awareness of:
- our relationship to the community and world issues
- how we deal with and resolve conflict
- how we can get support
Therapy and support groups meet the second & fourth Wednesday of each month, 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
