Group facilitation allows people to come together and develop self-awareness in relationship to each other, their community and the world.
In therapy groups, participants can use the group process as a medium of exploration, healing and change through interpersonal relationships in the group. In support groups, participants with similar issues come together in order to share coping strategies, to become more empowered and to find a sense of community.
Group experiences provide spaces that can increase our awareness of:
• our relationship to the community and world issues
• how we deal with, and resolve conflict
• how we can get support
Therapy and support groups meet the second & fourth Wednesday of each month, 6:00 - 8:00 pm
We meet the first & third Wednesday of each month, 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
We all interpret individually our dreams, but when processed in a facilitated group, the dreamer benefits from the wisdom, life experiences, and empathy of other members to provide a broader context and meaning. Melike Kayhan, Psychoanalyst and Psychotherapist at Face to Face Therapia, facilitates this group.
